Bang on the System Radio brings you part three of our ongoing coverage of the now successful revolution in Egypt, as 18 days of protests succeed in ousting of US-backed dictator Hosni Mubarak. We reflect on the events leading up to the ouster, the final push that forced Mubarak out. And now though Mubarak is gone, the military has assumed power, suspending the constitution and parliament. Meanwhile Egypt and Tunisia’s popular protests are inspiring and spreading popular protests across the region. We’ll reflect on the events that kicked Mubarak out of office and what the future may hold for Egypt and the region.
We will be joined by three-timespecial guest Eric Stoner, co-editor of the blog Waging NonViolence. as well as fellow Radiohive host Danny Valdes of Radio Provocateur.
